Our purpose is to generate a creative exchange bringing together different knowledge sources hard to find within the actual education system.
During these 10 days there will be performances, both scheduled and spontaneous, due to a collective learning and a productive interaction between musical projects and artists coming from different countries.
What Is Music offers 10 intensive and continued training courses, plenty of workshops, conferences and master classes given by international artists and musicians which brings an unusual way to learn music through a more intuitive learning, turning Frías into a meeting place for music from all over the world.
What Is Music is the first International Music & Dance Meeting taking place in Spain. It will gather more than 250 musicians and music ‘maniacs’ from all over the world along 10 days in the medieval city of Frías, Burgos.
