Initiation to the rhythm and musicality

The main course’s purpose is to debunk the ‘hardness’ of music creation, interaction and enjoyment. Our body as a main musical instrument, the game and fun as our musical staff.

 

Use this 10 days of meeting to understand that the music is not a frontline, is just a language and.

Finish the meeting playing in some of the WIM bands, like the batucada, choir... and understand that never is too late to learn how to play an instrument,

 

 

 

 

Program

 

  • From primary movements we will evolve to a whole musicality between the coordination, active hearing and body expression as main work tools.

  • We will try different styles and musical aspects from diverse cultures, like the Brazilian, Flamenco, Afro, Folkloric, etc.

  • Coordination and rhythm dynamics individually and in groups.

  • Musical concepts such as tempo, harmony, writing, dynamic, etc.

  • Percussion will be very studied as the more primitive element which will contribute to better assimilate those concepts.

  • We will do active hearings of determined songs to decode its essences.

  • Intercultural through music.

 

 

 

Come to enjoy this course, we open to you a space for disinhibit yourself, personal exploration, the enjoyment, a chance to express yourself in your own way, lot of laughs, games, etc.

Biography

 

Mario Edjo Leorza

 

Mario Bambule was born in Madrid in 1978, he searched feed in music and under his crossbred condition he researches and experiments in every way, style, transformation and symbolism of those musics which finds in his path.

 

Percussion is his main tool, studying the big spectrum of this family: congas, cajón, minor percussion, beatbox, etc. In this way try many different styles as Gospel, Funk, Rock, Reggae, Hip-Hop… and collaborating with artists like Sheila Cuffy, Vocal Factory, La Niña del Cabo, Black Light Gospel Choir, Alejandro Sanz among many others.

 

 

All this experience has kept him motivated for sharing and helping to bring closer the musical experience to whom ask for it. Always in contact with training and liveliness.
